Since the beginning of full-scale invasion of russian occupation troops on 24 February, the professionals of DTEK Grids, with support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, brought the lights back for over 3.8 mln families in Kyiv, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Donetsk regions.
During 200 days of the war, DTEK’s energy professionals repaired over 3 thousand energy infrastructure objects that had been destroyed by the occupants.
In May, during the record-breaking 45 days, electricity supplies were fully restored for 260 thousand families in Kyiv region right after the region had been liberated from the occupants. The Company has already invested some UAH 300 million into the electricity supply infrastructure repairs in Kyiv region.
“Our energy professionals have been struggling at the energy front for 200 days already. Yesterday, Dnipropetrovsk region was exposed to partial power outage due to the enemy’s shelling, but our employees once again demonstrated courage and professionalism and liquidated the shelling aftermath within a very short time. I take pride in these people working for Ukraine’s benefit and those are our defenders, volunteers and many others who shall contribute to Ukraine inevitably defeating our enemy,” said Maxim Timchenko, DTEK CEO.
