Amid the war and enemy attacks, DTEK Energy's thermal generation continues to support the stability of the Ukrainian power system with its balancing capacities.

In January-April this year, the company's TPPs generated almost 4.5 billion kWh of electricity for the Ukrainian power grid. These volumes are equivalent to the average consumption of about 1.5 million households for a whole year.

"The Ukrainian power system continues to face enormous challenges. Power engineers are intensively preparing for the upcoming heating season and continue to eliminate the consequences of russian attacks and restore equipment after hundreds of enemy missiles and drones. DTEK's thermal generation has been attacked 32 times since September. Today, more than UAH 6.5 billion is needed to repair the damaged and destroyed equipment at the TPPs alone. Despite this and the ongoing shelling, the power engineers are doing everything possible to maintain the stability of the Ukrainian power system with maneuvering capacities,"

said Ildar Saleev, CEO of DTEK Energy.
