DTEK Ethics and Business Conduct Code

Our Ethics and Business Conduct Code (the “Code”) is a fundamental document setting up the principal provisions of DTEK internal regulatory system. Among others, it establishes the cornerstone rules of ethics and business conduct that must be followed by all DTEK employees. The Code outlines the core values and principles inspired by DTEK Group’s mission, vision, and corporate values, as well as the rules of ethics and business conduct. DTEK compliance policies, programmes and regulations elaborate provisions of the Code and altogether constitute DTEK compliance regulatory framework.

The Code is supported by relevant compliance policies and programs. We actively train our employees and senior managers to operate ethically and to world-class standards.

Honest and ethical conduct of each employee is a cornerstone of the company’s success. This is why this Code is not a mere formality. We strongly believe in the values and principles outlined in the Code. It means that we have to act with the greatest respect for the law and human rights, follow rules of ethics, and know and comply with the rules set out in this Code both in and outside the workplace.

It is essential that each of us acts as the guardian of the Code and that we immediately raise any concerns whenever we see that it has been breached. We must remember that trust in and within the company is a cornerstone of our business’s sustainable and successful development. This trust is built by the actions taken by each of us.”

Our core rules and principles of business conduct include:

  • DTEK Group builds relations with employees on the principles of respect for human rights, protection of personal dignity, and equal employment opportunities.
  • Employees should share DTEK Group’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Relations between the employees, regardless of their position or occupation, as well as between the employees and DTEK Group, are based on the principles of honesty, respect and good faith.
  • We build relations with counterparties based on the principles of fairness, regulatory compliance, and economic expediency.
  • DTEK Group strives to promote the sustainable development of local communities by providing support to the social infrastructure of the regions where we operate and implementing social partnership programmes.
  • We engage in dialog and foster relations with local communities, civil society organisations, governmental authorities, and local self-governments based on the principles of openness, partnership and cooperation.
  • DTEK Group strongly condemns any forms of harassment (including sexual harassment), as well as mental and physical abuse (including bullying and mobbing) committed by or against employees.
