DTEK Oil & Gas continued digitalizing its business even during the war. Last year, the company's specialists scaled the integrated field development modeling project. Now the integrated system of digital twins fully covers all the base fields of the business.
DTEK Oil&Gas was the first company in Ukraine to implement an integrated system of digital field twins in the fall of 2021. Since then, the company has been improving the model and adding new facilities. In 2022, the system entirely covered all the base fields.
The integrated system combines separate models of reservoirs, wells, pipeline systems, and hydrocarbon production treatment into a single software environment. This allows for comprehensive development planning, field management, and decision-making, considering the interaction of underground and aboveground parts. Thanks to this digital solution, specialists responsible for different modeling stages and separated by geographical location can simultaneously work on one digital field twin. In addition, the implemented technology reduces the calculation time, increases modeling reliability, and improves information security.
DTEK Oil&Gas plans to develop the project further and include integrated models of the company's new assets in the system.
