“We are convinced that only joint actions by representatives of the community, business and government can help to solve the problems that Ukraine faces in this emergency. Responsible companies should demonstrate, through example, that business can support society in difficult periods. Today, we made 30,000 rapid tests available to doctors to identify COVID-19. This will make the swift identification of sick people possible and help in the fight against the spread of coronavirus, - said DTEK Energy Director for Regional Policy Tatiana Overina. - As early as December 2019, DTEK signed a Memorandum of Support for the Lviv Region Initiative Community, and we will direct our efforts for further community support”
Tatiana Overina also noted that the company, acting in the interests of Ukraine, took urgent measures to counter the emergency that has developed with the spread of coronavirus.
A headquarters has been set up at DTEK to coordinate and manage the actions that need to be taken in the regions where enterprises operate, to prevent the spread of coronavirus among employees and minimize the risks of the spread of infection among citizens. At the regional level, representatives of the DTEK Headquarters together with representatives of the authorities and communities form the priority resource needs of the regions.
“To stop the epidemic, the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation has purchased 300,000 rapid tests for coronavirus, a variety of special security equipment for doctors, and medical equipment. Overcoming the fierce competition that is now unfolding in the world markets for everything that helps overcome the pandemic, the Fund has already acquired, brought and delivered a variety of assistance to the regions. Yes, the rapid coronavirus tests from the Foundation have already been received by the Kharkiv, Donetsk, Lugansk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zaporizhzhya and Lviv regions, ”said Natalya Emchenko, a member of the Supervisory Board of the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation.
