DTEK became the Winner of the First All-Ukrainian CSR Business Case Competition in the “Community development” nomination

Kiev, 15 December, 2009. - The First All-Ukrainian CSR Business Case Competition, which was organized by the Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility Development in partnership with Ernst&Young, VOLIA, Austrian Airlines and Asters, has announced the results. DTEK became the winner in the “Community Development ” nomination.
The business case of DTEK is based on a long-term partnership with seven cities and towns of company’s presence. This partnership started in 2007 and has been going on up to now.
45 business cases were submitted for an international jury’s consideration. The nomination “Community Development” enjoyed the majority of CSR cases. Such companies as ISD, METRO Cash and Carry, RUSAL, Novo Nordisk and many others took part in this nomination. The best business solutions were included into the first CSR Guidelines published by the Centre for CSR development.
