Within DTEK the electricity is generated by three thermal power plants - Zuevskaya TPP, Kurakhovskaya TPP and Luganskaya TPP operated by Vostokenergo.

Vostokenergo is the first and the only private power generation company in Ukraine, which occupies ¼ of the Ukrainian thermal power generation market.

Vostokenergo’s TPPs consume the minimum volume of gas – it totals about 1% in the fuel structure. The main fuel for thermal power plants is the high-quality thermal coal produced by the coal mining companies of DTEK.
