Maxim V. Timchenko
|
Born on August 12, 1975 in Novoselitsy, Russia.
Mr. Timchenko graduated with honors from Donetsk State Academy of Management in 1997, qualified in “Management in Production Sphere”. He continued his education at the University of Manchester, graduated from it with honors and is a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Social Studies. Maxim Timchenko is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
He started his career as a consultant in "Pricewaterhouse Coopers" (1998-2002), where he rose to the position of the senior auditor.
In 2002-2005 he worked as a senior manager of System Capital Management.
Since July 2005 Mr. Timchenko has been the Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Board of Directors of DTEK.

Chief Operating Officer
Yuriy A. Ryzhenkov
|
Born on August 8, 1976 in Donetsk, Ukraine.
In 2000 he graduated from King’s College London (UK) and was awarded BSc Business Management with honours. The same year he graduated from Donetsk State Technical University (Ukraine) with degree in International Economics. In 2006 Mr. Ryzhenkov graduated from London Business School (UK) and was awarded an MBA degree with distinction.
In 1996-2000 he worked as an assistant of Chief Financial Officer of Donetsk Iron and Steel Works. In 2000 Mr. Ryzhenkov joined CJSC “Mini-steel mill “ISTIL (Ukraine)” as an Economic analysis and IT department manager. In 2002-2007 he was promoted first to deputy Chief Financial Officer and later to the post of Group’s Chief Financial Office of International Steel & Tube Industries Limited (ISTIL) (Donetsk-London).
In September 2007 Mr. Ryzhenkov joined DTEK as the Chief Financial Officer. In March 2010, Mr. Ryzhenkov was appointed the Chief Operating Officer

Chief Strategy Officer
Vitaly G. Butenko
|
Born on February 9, 1969 in Storozhinets, Ukraine.
Mr. Butenko graduated with honors with a degree in foreign languages from the University of Chernovtsy (Ukraine) in 1993. He received an MBA from the Asper School of Business, University of Manitoba (Canada), in 1996. During this time, he also worked as an associate at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London (1995).
From 1996 to 2004, he worked in some of the leading investment banks in the USA, Canada and the CIS, including Bank of Nova Scotia (Toronto), Credit Suisse First Boston (New York), and IB TRUST (Kyiv / Moscow).
From January 2005, Mr. Butenko worked as Chief Investment Officer of Inter RAO UES (Moscow), where he was responsible for the development and implementation of the company’s M&A and investment strategy, which focused on the CIS, Central and Eastern Europe, Turkey, Central Asia, the Middle East and China.
In April 2007, Mr. Butenko was named Chief Strategy Officer at DTEK.

Business Development Director
Guerman A. Ainbinder

Born on November 10, 1969 in Moscow.
In 1991, Mr. Ainbinder graduated from Moscow Machine-Tool Institute. In 1995, after completing the School of Business and Economics at the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation and California State University (Hayward), he was awarded the degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Applied Economy and Finance.
From September 1993 to January 1995, Mr. Ainbinder worked as Finance Manager in the NERO Company (Russia). At the same time he was Adviser of the Rector of the School of Business and Economics at the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation. In October 1995, he was employed by the management consulting group of Deloitte and Touche CIS. In February 1997, he joined the Russian division of Merk Sharp & Dohme Idea Company with business development responsibilities. In June 1999, he was given an employment by KPMG’s Strategy and Organizational Planning Group.
In 2005-2007, he headed the Strategy and Corporate Development Division of DTEK.
In 2008, he was appointed the Business Development Director of DTEK. |

Sergey A. Kordashenko
|
Born on March 18, 1971 in Moscow.
Mr. Kordashenko graduated from Moscow Aviation Institute in 1994, qualified in ‘Applied Mathematics’.
In 2005 he received the degree of International Executive MBA at Stockholm School of Economics.
Mr. Kordashenko started his working activities in 1993 in Ernst & Young Company.
Starting 1994 he has been engaged in the sphere of human resources management. His career in this field started in Procter & Gamble company. In November 1995 Sergey Kordashenko was appointed to the position of Deputy General Director on HR of 'Vesso-Link' Company (Russia, telecommunications).
From January 1997 till April 1999 he worked as HR Manager of AGA Industrial and Medical Gases (Sweden).
In May 1999 Sergey Kordashenko took up the post of HR Manager of ‘Pivovarnya Moskva-Efes’ company.
Since August 2005 Mr. Kordashenko has been in charge of the HR and Corporate Communications Directorate of DTEK.

Coal Production and Enrichment Director
Evgeniy V. Romaschin
|
Born on November 1, 1974 in Sorochinka village of Plavskiy District, Tula Region.
Mr. Romaschin received higher education at Tula State University, the ‘Business Economics and Management’ qualification, in 1996.
In 1999 he completed the post-graduate course at Tula State University, the ‘National Economy Management’ qualification, with dissertation ‘Business Costs and Performance Management’.
Evgeniy Romaschin participated in the Presidential Training Programme for Executives, completed the courses ‘Management’ and ‘Financial Management’ arranged by the International Institute of Management LINK and the Open University (Great Britain) in 2000.
In September 1995 Mr. Romaschin assumed the office as the Economist of the Planning & Economy Unit of ‘Stroymaterialy Tulachermet’ OJCS.
In February 1999 he headed the Cost Accounting Unit of ‘Stroymaterialy Tulachermet’ OJCS.
From September 2000 till April 2001 Evgeniy Romaschin worked as an expert of the Outward Investment Directorate of ‘Severstal’ Company. In April 2001, he was appointed the Economy and Finance Director of ‘Karelsky Okatysh’ OJSC.
In August 2005 Mr. Romaschin was appointed the Director of Finance of DTEK.
Since August 2007 Mr. Romaschin has been in charge of the Coal Production and Enrichment Division of DTEK.

IT Director
Sergey V. Detyuk
|
Born on 4 March 1978 in the town of Volnovakha, Donetsk Region.
In 2000, Mr. Detyuk graduated from Donetsk State Technical University and got a Master’s degree in IT Software. In 2000-2002, he continued his studies and obtained a diploma of Financial Economist from the same university.
In 1998-2000, Mr. Detyuk worked at the faculty of Applied Mathematics and Informatics in Donetsk State Technical University. In 2000, he started his employment with Ukrpodshipnik industrial and investment company as an Information System Expert and later was appointed Deputy Manager of the project on corporate information system deployment.
In 2004–2006 Mr. Detyuk was the Head of IT Unit in Istil (Ukraine) and implemented the SAP system introduction project. Later he became the Head of IT Department at Dneprospetsstal plant, where he managed the project on ERP system introduction, apart from infrastructure and organizational projects.
He joined DTEK in late 2007 as the Deputy IT Director and led the IT development works at all enterprises of DTEK.
In November 2009, Mr. Detyuk was appointed the IT Director of DTEK. |

Environmental Health and Safety Director
Dmitriy Yu. Tikhiy

Born on December 5, 1968 in Samarkand.
In 1994, he graduated from Saint-Petersburg University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics qualified as Process Design Engineer.
From 1997 to 2004, Mr. Tikhiy worked for British American Tobacco, where he moved from the position of Chief Power Engineer of Operations up to the Environmental Health & Safety Regional Manager in Central Asia.
In 2004, he was invited to RUSAL (Russian Aluminium) company where he was in charge of building up an up-to-date safety management system at Krasnoyarsk Smelter and later at all the enterprises as Safety Director of the Aluminium Division.
He was employed by DTEK in January 2007 as Head of the Health, Safety and Environmental Department.
Since December 2009, Dmitriy Tikhiy has been leading the Environmental Health & Safety Division of DTEK.

Security Director
Sergey V. Polianskiy
|
Born on April 7, 1966 in Snezhnoye town, Donetsk Region.
Mr. Polianskiy graduated from the National Academy of Internal Affairs of Ukraine with qualification in law.
He worked for internal affairs institutions starting 1986, his job specialization being operations. In the course of employment, Mr. Polianskiy advanced from the position of Authorized Operations Officer of the CID to that of Head of the Anti-Drug Trafficking Division of the IAMD of Ukraine (Donetsk Region). Starting 1994, he held executive posts within the CID of IAMD. The employment involved special training in line with international training systems on anti-terrorism and clearance of crimes involving explosives and fire weapons in the US, Great Britain and Turkey within the organized-crime-fighting and drug-fighting framework.
From 2005 he was Deputy Head of DTEK Corporation Security Service on economic security.
In 2006 Mr. Polianskiy occupied the position of the Head of the Economic Security Department of DTEK.
Since April 2007 Mr. Polianskiy has been Security Director of DTEK .
